Kathy Hansen

Kathy has lived in Christchurch all her life, apart from a year in Whanganui and a year overseas, both way back in the late 70's. The rest has been spent in this wonderful city bringing up her children, and working part time at the Town Hall and the Christchurch i-SITE Visitors Centre.
Many hours were also spent over 15 years doing volunteer work for World Vision, a passion which also led Kathy to working in an orphanage in Romania as her 50th birthday present to herself.
These days she is a volunteer with the Salvation Army Street Outreach, a Budget Advisor with Kingdom Resources, and very involved in many aspects of her Church.
However several times a week you will find Kathy on the dance floor where her love of ballroom and rock and roll dancing can be fulfilled.
