Assistant Operations Manager

Peter recently joined our team when he and his family relocated to Christchurch from Timaru to allow his wife Ruth to further develop her barber career in the big city.

Peter’s previous Funeral Directing was with Bett’s Funeral Services in Timaru- Eion’s old firm so he comes with the high standards and wide experience necessary to slot straight into the team here at CCFS.

Peter is actively involved in Tai Kwon Do, attaining a 6th Dan Black belt, is a National Olympic Selector and Coach at one of the local Dojo’s. He has a large family (7 kids!) and is widely involved in his children’s activities. When he is not serving our client families (or his own!) Peter loves to Scuba dive, Fish, travel and participate in Tae Kwon Do.

Peter has worked widely in the field of mental health services and has worked with many community groups to help deliver services to those who need support in this area. Peter is also an ex serviceman in the NZ Army so shares a common employment heritage with our other military man Mark Johnson
