EILKEN, Donna Maree

EILKEN Donna Maree (nee Wright) - On April 22, 2010, at home, surrounded by her adoring family. Not unexpected, but taken too soon at the age of 48.

Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Haylie and Calvin, Kendra and Dan, and much loved partner of Neil. Dearly loved eldest daughter of Noelene and Dennis Wright, loved sister and sister-in-law of Sharon and Greg Barnard, Lauren and Garth Asher, and much admired aunty of Joshua, Mitchell, Simon, Samantha, Laura, Luke, and Dilly.

Heartfelt thanks to Ward 27 staff at Christchurch Hospital, and for the tremendous support from the Cancer Society and Nurse Maude Hospice. Messages to the Eilken family c/- PO Box 31300, Christchurch 8444.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held in the Lincoln Bowling Club, North Belt, Lincoln, on Monday, April 26, at 1.00pm. At Donna's request minimal dark clothing, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Research and Ward 27 at Christchurch Hospital can be made at the service.
