RUTLAND Heaton Gould - On July 5, 2010, suddenly at his home in Ngaio Point aged 73 years.

Alison's Mr Dear, beloved father of Fiona, Sarah, Jamie, and Alasdair, and special friend and father-in-law of Andy Sims. Heatons bevy of little fellas (grandchildren) Atreyu, Tove, and Charlie; Thomas, Oliver, Kahu, and Munro.

"I've hung my spade up"

A special thanks to our local doctors, staff, and the Rescue Crew for their frequent and devoted care of Heaton. Messages to the Heaton Rutland Nursery, Ngaio Point, 7581. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Guardians of Akaroa Hospital would be appreciated and may be made at the service.

A service of celebration for Heaton's life will be held in the Gaiety Theatre, Rue Jolie, Akaroa, on Saturday, July 10, at 1.00 pm.
