Sommerville Gayle Leslie, aged 47. - Gayle passed away peacefully on the 27th July at 9:20am in the loving arms of her husband and best friend Steve.

Gayle lived with her cancer with great dignity, and passed away the same way.

Loved daughter of the late Allan and Barbara Thompson. Much loved daughter in law of Marjory and Bill Sommerville, dearly loved sister in law of Gordon, Derek and Larissa, Elaine and Ian. Very much loved Aunt of David and Punsara, Michael and Vanessa, Richard , James and Laura; Katrina, Lauren and Peter; Jody and Annie, Kristy and Hua.

Gayle will be at home with Steve from Wednesday the 29th July until Saturday the 31st July.

The celebration of Gayle’s short but very much fun filled life will take place on Saturday 31st July at 2:30pm at Harewood Crematorium, cnr Wilkinsons and Johns Road, Christchurch.

No flowers please, donations may be made at the service to the Cancer Society.
