Loved nana of Steve, Shohn, Sapphire, Chandelle (Auckland), Kara, Summer- Lacey (Christchurch); loved great nana of Dayshana, Leilani, Melody-Ann, and the late baby Joseph. Sister in law of Betty Tauri (Wanganui), Val Tauri (Te Anau), Clive and Lynn Smythe, Kit and Alison Smythe, and Diane and Brian Henderson (Christchurch).

Loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews. Yvonne is the youngest daughter of the late Ted Nepia and Mere Topi Te Tauri of Wanganui.

Loved sister of the late George Nepia (New Plymouth), Darcy Nepia (Wanganui), Colin Nepia (Te Anau), and Maria Mere Sollitt (Wanganui), and foster sister of the late Eddie Tahau (Wellington).
