PRATTLEY Albert James Winstone (Bert) Passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010, at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village. Aged 94 years.

Dearly loved husband of Mary (Molly) Prattley for 68 years. Loved father and father-in -law of George and Dawn (Weedons), Noel and Carol (Riversdale), Wendy and Ian (Napier), Barbara and Tony Barker (Stanleybrook), Alison (Oaklands), Christopher and Pauline (Killinchy). A much loved grandfather of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the staff at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village and Hospital for their patience and care. Thanks also to Dr O'Gorman and Nurse Maude staff for their care over the years, and the doctors and nurses at wards 23 and 29, Christchurch Hospital.

A celebration of Bert's life was held in the Hornby Presbyterian Community Church, 27 Aymes Road, on Saturday, January 30, at 11.00 am, followed by interment at the Methven Cemetery.
