THOMSON, Eunice Joy (Joy), nee Purton. On 26th December, 2009, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, and just short of her 82nd year.

Dearly loved wife of Stan, and mother of Russell, Wendy and Roger Parlane, and Andrew. Much loved nana of Fraser, and Georgia. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Hazel and the late Gordon Gillespie, Faye and Allan Gunn, Bryan Purton, and Gaye and Kevin McDonnell. Special aunt to her nieces and nephews. Treasured daughter of the late Cecil and Dorothy Purton (nee Wellbourn).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army. The funeral service for Joy was held in the Beckenham Methodist Church at 83 Malcolm Avenue, Beckenham, on Thursday, 31st December.
